Hinter ländlicher Oase mit Acker und Bauernhaus im Vordergrund wird im Mittelgrund eine Grube sowie das daran angrenzendes Dorf Hötensleben mit Kirchturm ersichtlich. Der Ruß vieler Schornsteine scheint den Himmel bei vollem Sonnenschein dunkel zu färben. Bezeichnet u.l.: "Jacobschacht 1980", u.r.: "A. Walther 86".
